Consultation. By phone, email or over a hot cup of coffee! We can get together and discuss what it is you want on your web site. Your options, ideas and what you should and shouldn't be doing in the line of content and marketing for your site's subject.
Domain and hosting. I will help you purchase your domain and one year hosting through my in house hosting services. This is an easy and painless process that will take a matter of seconds! Please keep in mind, that the hosting portion of this requires a credit card and is a yearly, recurring fee.
Layout design. A layout for your web site will be built from the 'bottom up'. Abstractionz will MAKE you a layout. No designer programs or premade service templates are used.
Cross browser and screen size compatibility. Your web site will be designed and developed to be viewed smoothly on all the major browsers such as AOL, Internet Explorer, Fire Fox, Netscape, Google Chrome and Opera. They are also designed to be compatible with screen sizes 800x600 to 1280x1024.
Full set up. Once your layout is complete and you give the thumbs, your layout will be installed for you. All content provided or obtained on your behalf will be placed in the proper locations and sections. This includes text and media such as photos or downloadable files.
Digital scanning and photography. Both are available with some limitation. Within reasonable distance, a photographer can come and take photos for your web site. This can be of merchandise, buildings, and so on. Scanning of printed images or photos is also available.**
Social networking. Icons or feed boxes for your social network sites such as twitter or your facebook page can be placed on your site. They can also be made to match your layout to add more of a unique flare to your online presence. Ask about facebook pages and Twitter! They may be vital free advertising tools that can be included in this set up at no extra charge.
Search engine submittal. This is a vital step most web developers over look. Once payment has been made in full your web site will be submitted to major search engines for 'crawling' to be listed.
Additional options for your web site to take them past the standard package!
Facebook page. If you have one or need one- I can help you set it up and walk you through the steps of making me an admin so I can customize it to match your web site and include easy links to your web site's sections. While a custom facebook tab normally costs $25, if you are securing services through Abstractionz this service will only cost you an additional $10. *This is a service some companies charge $100 to do!*
Blog. If your interested in posting news items or sharing opinions a blog section or blog web site is for you.
Extensive photo gallery. This is ideal for photographers or artists looking to add photos on a regular basis.
*Please keep in mind this is a rough estimate. Your actual final bill may be a little lower, or higher than this depending on the complexity to your web site. On average, For a small web site, a client's final cost is around $200.00. If you already have a domain and hosting, this cost will be around $150. Please keep in mind, that extensive rework requests after the web site is in the installation phase, may bring additional charges.
** I am willing to travel a reasonable distance to meet with you, and take photos for your web site. Anything outside of that will be considered depending on the location and may involve additional fees upon billing.
